Principal Investigator
Dr. Ding received his BS from Tsinghua University in 2013, and his PhD from Columbia University under the instruction of Dr. Andrea Califano in 2018. Dr. Ding finished his postdoctoral training in UCSC Genomics Institute under the supervision of Dr. Joshua Stuart and Dr. Benedict Paten, and started his own lab in the University of Arizona in 2021.
Visiting Postdoctoral Scholar, 2021 - Present
Dr. Fang received his BS and PhD in Cell Biology from Nankai University under the instruction of Dr. Wen Ning in 2012 and 2017, respectively. Then he started his postdoctoral research at Columbia University Medical Center under the supervision of Dr. Jianwen Que. His research is focused on how stem and progenitor cells contribute to lung regeneration by using genetic and bioinformatic tools.

Ziyang Liu is a current PhD student in statistics and data science at the University of Arizona. His research interest is Machine Learning and deep learning.

Ziyuan Wang received his BS from Sichuan University in 2022 and is currently a PhD student in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Arizona. He did research on microbiome and plant genome at Sichuan University. After joining Ding Lab, Ziyuan’s research focused on single-cell sequencing, nanopore sequencing and Deep Learning. He is also a crazy soccer fan.

I am currently a MS student in Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Arizona. My undergraduate major is Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Economics. Currently, I am interested in data visualization and cyber security related to machine learning.
